Hello,  just a little introduction about myself.

I originally trained and practiced as a social worker specialising in fostering and adoption work, so have a wealth of knowledge and experience of trauma in the family and in those who have experienced family dysfunction.

I moved into the holistic therapy field in 2004, after qualifying in holistic  therapy from a one year’s course covering Reiki, Reflexology, Therapeutic massage, Aromatherapy,  Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology, and Indian Head Massage.

I practice in my own private therapy room in Reading, and in a clinical setting with the Sue Ryder  charity.  Over the years, I have developed expertise in  lymphatic drainage, special needs,   autism,  cancer care, disability,  palliative care, neurological conditions, muscle release and both pre natal and anti natal care. I am also  very experienced with common issues like headaches, stress, sinusitis, general well being, emotional release, tinnitus, insomnia, nausea, IBS etc

My mantra is “listen to the body” as we are all different and each of us has different needs. One person’s experience of relaxation and well being will not be another’s.

I am a member of two professional bodies; the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Association of Reflexologists.  The FHT is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority so you can be assured  of high professional standards and competence. Both organisations require  continual professional training and development from their members.

I take referrals from G.P.’s, community nurses, insurance providers as well as individuals and recommendations from other clients.

Practice apart, I am involved in mentoring other therapists, I founded the support group for Reading therapists, and arranged   training and discussion groups on  related topics to do with health and well being, and I  coordinate further advanced training for therapists in the Reading area.

I am available to discuss your own requirements without any commitment on your part to help you find the treatment that is right for you.
